Brentwood Tree House

Submitted by admin on October 31, 2009 – 00:132 Comments

A very atypical tree house – When a 40-year-old pine tree fell over, its owner let it lie. However the tree revived itself. At that point, the owner decided to honor its resilience by incorporating it into a modern 172 sq. foot office/guesthouse. ( Check out more images after the jump!)

While most tree houses have a trunk running vertically, this structure floats above the tree. The Brentwood Tree House is  located on the top of a hill and overlooks downtown Los Angeles, California.
