Audi E-Tron Detroit Auto Show
Four months after introducing the e-tron at the Frankfurt Auto Show, Audi is now showing us how they might expand its use of electric technology with a new concept, the e-tron, at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show. Yes, this car is under the same name as the previous version, but it contains many different features. This version is a foot shorter, 500lbs lighter, and doesn’t utilize Audi’s signature Quattro all-wheel drive. Audi is making no secret of its intent to market e-tron not just as a name for one vehicle, but as a distinct sub brand not unlike Quattro and TDI. Will we see the e-tron mass produced in 2012? Watch the video after the jump!
