With a range up to 300 miles and 45-minute QuickCharge, the Telsa Model S can carry up to five adults , and two children in a rear-facing seat under the hatch. The entire center console is one massive 17-inch touchscreen LCD, plus the intuitive design equips the driver to charge it from any outlet, without ever stopping for gas. The Telsa Model S is the world’s first mass-produced electric vehicle that offers performance (0-60 in 5.6 seconds), efficiency and unrivaled utility all at a base price of $49,900.     This could be my first electric car I own. Hopefully Tesla releases the Model S as expected and at the $49K price point.
