CBS Building By Dasic Architects

Submitted by admin on February 4, 2010 – 02:46No Comment

The CBS Building Located in Shinbashi,Tokyo is a small office building designed by Dasic Architects. By recessing the structure, they were able to create an open public space for passerby’s while also providing room for occasional parking. They used louvered glass on the roof allowing natural light in to brighten the inside while also minimizing heat intake. More info and images after the jump!

The office consists of four floors. Levels one through three are used primarily as office space and the fourth floor of the building is utilised as a ‘living pod’ complete with a living area, kitchen, and bathroom. This gives the employees flexibility to relax after work and even accommodate occasional overnight stays.
