Sony’s upcoming motion controller finally has a name–the PlayStation Move. Sony officially announced the PlayStation Move motion controller calling it the next generation of motion gaming because it’s so precise. Sony’s plan is not only to engage casual gamers, but to use the precision of the controller to create new experiences for core gamers. Yes, just like the Wii Nunchuk there’s going to be a secondary wireless subcontroller with an an analog stick for first person shooters. Sony is treating this like a major console launch, so expect to see the PlayStation Move everywhere when it launches. Move, will be available this fall in a starter kit that begins at under $100 for a Move, a PlayStation eye camera and a game, is its attempt to jump ahead of Microsoft’s Natal and to begin winning over Wii users.  Check out a video and more images after the jump!
