BlackBerry | BlackPad / Cobalt Tablet 2011?

Research In Motion is doing their best to stay relevant since there once stronghold on the wireless market is clearly weakening. Rumor has it that they are currently working on a tablet code named “BlackPad” or “Cobalt”. The tablet is expected to get an 8.9-inch screen,and will be thinner and smaller then Apple’s iPad. RIM has been reportedly ordering displays for the device from Taiwan based tech company Hon Hai, the world’s largest electronics parts maker. The BlackBerry tablet is expected to be fully compatible with BlackBerry OS, with integrated features such as 3G and Wi-Fi. The device, if it exists, will not hit the market until 2011. More details to come as we uncover this new tablet rumor.
